How-tosBind-Offs

Decorative Bind Offs

An edge that finishes the piece with something to look at.

The last row can be decoration as well. The applied i-cord bind off adds a cord along the edge as it goes, and it matches the i-cord cast on. The picot bind off leaves small points, for baby things and shawls. The two row bind off makes an elongated, eyelet edge, for afghans and anything with fringe.

They take longer than a plain bind off, and they are for the pieces where the edge shows.
