Unique Cast Ons
For the odd situations: starting in the middle of a row, or from a closed centre.
Two cast ons for the places the others do not reach. Casting on in the middle of your work adds stitches part way along a row, for a pocket, a gusset or a buttonhole. The Emily Ocker cast on starts a piece from a closed centre, for anything knit from the middle out: a round shawl, a hat from the top, a doily.
